The CleanWND® wipe is a non-woven, impregnated pad that acts as an innovative debridement and therapy system for complex wounds. It extracts debris and exudate from the wound completely and virtually painlessly. The pad removes scales and keratosis from the surrounding skin.
The CleanWND® wipe is manufactured using the "needle method" and contains short fibers, enabling it to easily collect wound debris during mechanical debridement and without leaving lint or residual fibers in the wound bed or on the surrounding skin.
Function and use:
CleanWND® wipes are impregnated with sodium hyaluronate and phospholipid. Sodium hyaluronate is an important component of the skin's extracellular matrix and plays a significant role in dermal metabolism, wound healing and tissue repair.
Phospholipids promote skin cleansing and replace phospholipids that have been lost from damaged wound tissue and surrounding skin.
